guns randomly appearing in inventory?

title. I was just running around, and noticed that automatically my sniper was moved into my inventory and I instead had a different sniper equipped?

I thought maybe I just forgot that I picked it up, so I returned to a camp, and now both snipers are in my inventory and now I have a Mark 1 EMR equipped??

Am I insane? or is this a blessing from the zone?? I'm so confused...

Both these snipers materialized out of nothing and just were automatically equipped

I wasnt doing any quests, I was actually just returning to pick one up

i had a groza do that aswell, just got out of lesser and went to switch to my shotgun and out comes a rifle

I've had the same happen twice now, once in dogfight quest when looting the collar and once randomly when attacking zombies.

It's some kind of bug, I had a bunch of broken AKs in my inventory and then my dude randomly pulled out a sniper rifle, opened my inventory and had 5 high tier sniper rifles instead of the broken AKs and my main weap was unequipped. They were all red/broken except 1 yellow.

I've had this happen twice. At first I thought it might be a reward for the quest, it just didn't show up, but then it appeared in the SVD slot instead of a shotgun and the character switched to it himself, but this time I was 100% sure that I didn't mess it up and no one gave it to me. xD

Seems to happen vs Zombies for some reason. Not sure why.

did you get standard or the other editions? I had that happen to ar's, also from somewhere I got a gasmask after one or two quests.

i had it happen twice in a row, i got a bolt action rifle and a pump action shotgun appear, and now the UI that shows equipped items is gone

I had this happen tonight two different times. I thought you guys were pulling my leg about this as I saw this thread earlier and didn't think anything of it but I definitely had this today

happens to me all the time, it seems like it's almost always when i'm sprinting between locations
