Sultan briefcase softlock

When giving Sultan's briefcase back to Sultan, the dialogue is broken and the game locks you in, not able to exit unless you ALT+F4. Permanent 5kg item in the inventory.
Anyone else? Guess Im gonna have to reload a 1 hour old save

Edit: Pretty sure the issue is fixed now

You just have to reload, or not complete the quest. Next patch should fix it

Mine loaded the old dialogue ("So and so said you had work for me"), then froze like 2 lines in. After 10s it kicked me from the dialogue and even though I have the briefcase I can't turn it in.

mine did the same and i thought i had a corrupted save ;) I been going thru these forums all days to make sure i aint the only one having theses issues

There's more quests down the line that are broken, love it :)

Damn, I'm just returning from the quest to turn in the case. I'm fully loaded with new gear, found brand new VS Vintorez and its unique version Veteran + some nice armor pieces. I will flip the ♥♥♥♥ out if the bug happens to me.

I was lucky in this respect as I could do other bugged quests such as the one in Military checkpoint in Cordon from Sidorovich, which other were also bugged.

I think the issue is if you don't talk to the guys that try to jump you after getting the briefcase. First time when the quest broke I didn't talk to them and just shot on sight and the quest could not be finished. When I reloaded I talked to them and refused to give it over and I could then turn in the quest.

That's so annoying. I originally talked to them but died, so I reloaded and started tossing frags without talking to them. Now I've done too much to want to reload an older save.
