I feel like I'm soft locked at this mission. somehow I'm supposed to fight a chimera and find shelter before getting killed by a no warnings emission? Who designed this mission

Its not the mission, its chimera's overall. I simply ran away from that one and it gave up eventualy. I stumbled upon one in the wild later on and I cant kill that one either. Absolutely nuts.

Just got to this and ended up wasting a ton of time before realizing it's scripted. I have no idea how the ♥♥♥♥ you're supposed to deal with this. You can't run from the Chimera and you can't cheese it because there's no shelter from the emission. I don't get it.

Finally got past it once I realized you're expected to just run to the quest marker. But it's a pain with all the water and vegetation blocking visibility. Pretty much have to chug energy drinks unless you're very lightweight.

Also just a warning for others who come across this, after getting to the quest marker you'll end up with a quest item that weighs 12kg. So prepare accordingly. At least there's a hercules to pick up in that same room and another above ground in a nearby building.

Yeah that mission is kinda ass, and then I was overweight after the emission so the run back was just attrocious.

I can't jump the church mission here but I can't jump a long distance but I can't do it even though I've seen people on YouTube who can do it so I can't advance in the story because of this stupid mission of jumping to get there deactivate the beacon

The chimera is killable. It took about 40+ buckshots, and maybe some slugs, as well. But then you die from the emission. Good to know about running.

here at the moment and was going to post how annoying it was. endless mutants, reeds you cannot see through, slowing water and no shelter for a scripted emission. god it's annoying, and quests are not suppose to be annoying.

i was already pissed at that controller quest when i found out trying not to kill people was a waste of time as they do not recover after the controller is dead, even though a quest giver hinted at not killing them.

That missions straight up sucks, I turned around and ran back into the shack. Then an emission began and the chimera was gone.

i heard some scary noise behind me so i ran instead of confronting it, then i heard it running towards me so i chugged an energy drink and ran more

according to achievement stats half of the people that make it sircaa actually killed the chimera haha, wild. in my game I actually couldn't kill it, at least I thought. I even got up above it and sat there just putting all of my shotgun ammo right into its face. I spent like 15 minutes reloading saves before just saying ♥♥♥♥ it and running

I am legit starting to wonder if the devs are pranking us and the game is actually different for literally everyone
I did this annoing quest finally. It took me like 10 trys to do it because of this chimera and 2 other mutants (the invisible ones). I also run instead of killing the chimera because it wasnt possible with this immession. I did it twice because at the first time i didnt realize that at that building the shelter was about 200m away. That cost my chair some agression but i did it. I hope i survive the way back
