Should you get the "Unknown Stalker's AR416"

I have the choice to get the Unknown Stalker's AR416, is it worth it to betray my questgiver and get this rifle? Is it that strong?

It's an extremely good weapon, but it starts off with 10% durability, so you'll have to fix it before it's useful. Which will run you around 16k.

You need 20 000 to repair it.

The latest patches to rebalance the economy make a big difference to repair costs. For me, as of March 2025, the repair cost for the Unknown Stalker's AR416 was about 7400 coupons.

i thought i noticed prices and values change. Didnt find this in their updated patchnotes though.

Everything you sell is now worth less too it seems

Depents on who you sell it to, not every trader pays good value.
And you can make a little extra around Rostok as Ragman is the only one who buys Red damadge status weapons (must be above 0% though) but your better of selling your other stuff to the trader in the market hall.


ClusterF#@k is one of the best, its verry acurate, and has a long range scope, only downside is its just Single Fire, but i scored loads of headshots with it.

Later on a Dnipro (upgraded and with Scope and Extended magazine) is one of the best weapons for sure, acurate and packs a punch.

Saiga D12 is great also with its bigger magazine and rapid fire, rips trough bloodsuckers and such.

Of all the Special Weapons the Whip sniper, Saiga D12 shotgun, Dnipro assault rifle are my favorits, especaily now you can get the Saiga Drum Mag in Pripyat before the point of no return.

Diamond Exo is is the best suit, and you can get it really early in the game, and upgrade it close to where you found it so you can sprint with it.
Same method to get it since the games release, so i suspect the devs did it intencionaly, otherwise it would have been so easy for them to remove the thing you need to reach it. Especaily since they made it extremly hard to get to Pripyat early (tried after 1.3 and failed) and would let you roam Duga right from the start, but instead they placed imortal snipers with wall piercing gauss ammo to keep you from doing that early.
