Can't get rid of dog collars

So after finishing Nightingale's quest, the merchant in town should be accepting them from now on, but there isn't a dialogue option or possibility to sell it to him.
Is there another way? It's a quest item so it can't be moved from the inventory.

I've got the same issue but with the dialogue option, I get to ask if he buys them - he says yes, then I can only choose to "leave and sell them later"

Ditto, but I was able to sell one off when I turned the quest in. Afterward, I picked up another, and now it's just stuck in my inventory. No longer have the dialogue option to sell them, and can't drop it as it's a quest item.

I have the same problem. I found a collar when I had already given the others away and now I can neither throw it away nor give it away.

I love the game but in the last few hours came across so many bugs, one completely game breaking and cant get around, and now this one aswell.

Yeah, this quest is really buggy. I had collected all the collars at one point, turned everything in, and the quest still showed in my journal. In my first created playthrough the quest was just stuck in my journal with no way to complete it. On my current playthrough I reloaded the game several times until the quest properly completed and I was able to turn everything in. There are also other quest items and certain inventory items that seem to stay stuck in your inventory for no reason at all, like random PDA's and whatnot. Pretty annoying...
