Transfer Save File

Im enjoying the game on the PC Game Pass but was thinking to buy it on steam to support the devs. Am i able to transfer my save file from Game Pass to Steam? Also, how do the devs make money from Game Pass?

you mean if they buy it from the microsoft store? they get paid the same same as on steam, microsoft's fee is same as valve's, 30%

every contract is different and this info isn't public knowledge, only the pub/dev knows
