60 fps on medium 7800X3D and 7800XT
Am i tweaking? why does it run so badly, i could use frame gen which bumps it to 100 fps but then the input lag is unbearable its impossible to aim and move around accurately, do you guys have any tips maybe a tweak i could do

my specs are:
7800X3D
7800XT
64gb ddr5
game is on a SSD
running on windows 10

i have all my stuff up to date and fine tuned i'm autistic, its literally the unreal engine 5 syndrome again but this one game is particularly bad

i tweaked some settings and now i get, with framegen, around 120fps at 1440p. all i did was knock some stuff from epic down to high.

i put everything on low and i get 75fps but the frame pacing is far far far smoother and its playable even if its not that many more fps, i think its a specific setting that destroys the frame pacing when its above low but i havent found which one yet

for anyone reading this, i've implemented some ini and pak fixes i found on nexus mods and the game runs slightly better, but if i put any of the shading quality on anything but low, the frame pacing tanks super hard it becomes a stuttery mess, otherwise the game is fine and has barely any input lag

I have a 7800X3D. In a video I learned that the core with the big cache is not properly used if you don't have the correct settings in your BIOS.
Not sure if you ever did this/looked into this.

In your BIOS, you want to find "SMU".
Under "SMU" there should be an option called "CPPC".
This should be set to "cache" so the core with the big cache is prioritized.
When set to "auto", it isn't.

Hopefully this helps out.

(7800X3D + RX6600 + 32GB 6000MHz DDR5 + NVMe drive + Winblows 10. @1080P AMD Adrenalin tells me I played 6 hours with an average of 100.3 FPS)

Enable FSR and Framegen, set FSR to Native AA so you don't lose quality.

I cant hit broadside of a barn with framegen on. Unless you have stable 60 FPS, framegen causes very noticeable input lag. really tough to make it feel good in FPS games

I have a 7900GRE.on 1440p FSR Quality it hovers around 60, sudden dips to 40s is the issue for alot of people. it seems the only way to avoid it is brute forcing with a 4090, where dips are above 60 fps and less noticeable.

Some clowns have families and responsibilities.

And different clowns, who don't own the game, only post to BE clowns...

this issue was only for the two CCDS X3D cpus afaik, like the 7950X3D had this issue but i dont think the 7800X3D has it from what i remember because it only has 1CCD

i've been running it with frame gen and fsr and its okay, feels very sluggish but its playable at least, quite a shame honestly

No you don't, i bought the 4090 for exactly this case. To have a GPU powerful enough to just brute force at least acceptable performance no matter how badly optimized the game is. If this game was properly optimized(and not slavjank) i would be seeing well over 150fps at 1440p without dlss or framegen while my GPU is asleep. Your 7800xt is more than enough for 90% of all new releases.

but then i dont get why other people with better gpus than me have 0 issues unless they all lie or dont notice the frame pacing etc
