Storing Skifs pistol and more

Is there a way to store or sell Skifs pistol? Don't want it in my inventory. Have same problem with some quest items or PDA's

First Village at the Trader there is a bed and a chest you can use to store items

Far as I can tell, you can't drop it, but it weighs literally nothing on it's own (meaning without ammo or attachments)

You cannot transfer it to the chest

Actually the space it self is not limited as far as I can tell, it will expand if you need more slots, weight is still a limiting factor. And since Skif's pistol doesnt weigh anything, its a non issue.

Yeah there's no inventory tetris.^ Frankly idk why they make the inventory look like that, the original game kinda did it too - it just adds a scroll bar when it gets full.

Guess Im not the only one looking to get rid of skifs pistol. Didnt realize it weights 0 kgs if unloaded.

They nerfed the knife so hard in this game that I think they wanted to make sure you always have a gun of some kind. Not to mention he uses that pistol in all of the cutscenes even if you have a different one equipped.
