- Ryzen 9 5900HX @ 3.30GHz
- Nvidia RTX 3080 with 16GB VRAM
- 64 GB System RAM
- Game is on a 4TB SSD
I have game installed, but haven't played it yet. Worried about expected performance...

I'd say I maintain 60 FPS average on epic settings(I think), but I do use the optimizer mod
Nope, but the game does on occasion just drops to 15-ish FPS, friggin annoying but either reloading or changing the graphic settings usually solves it
Got a ASUS STRYX G614 with RTX 4050 and 32Go RAM.
First I had stutter after 1 hour of gaming and had to quite, relaunch game.
But now, no more pb, I desactived Frame Gen and installed this mod from Nexus
"STK2 - SPF (Performance)-9-1-6-4-1732564055" and everything is fine.
Settings are mostly medium & low.
Now that things are fine, will upgrade some settings higher one at a time.

Had problems with vanilla install, fps drops from 85-90 to 15-25 and even worse at POIs.
Found a solution:

after changing GameUserSettings. ini Stalker 2 runs smooth like butter with stable 85-90 FPS
Settings:
All High, only Hair, Clouds Medium
DLSS on, Quality
1440p
120 FPS Cap
VSync off
Enjoying now Stalker 2 like it should

It's enough to keep me from refunding and I'm enjoying the game very much. Can't wait to play it upgraded after Christmas.
Now playing on 1080, with hair, post processing, foliage - low, everything else medium-high frame gen-off, getting 80-100 fps,in towns 60-70. No significant dips in any circumstances, but stutters more visible. For me,frame gen causes more issues, plus input lag feels like gameplay is in past present. Didn't mod or edit any files (yet). To not make 1080 blurry, setting sharpness to 80+ does the do.
