Crosshair Reticle Color for friendly/neutral/enemy

Is it just me, or are all NPC's highlighted Green? I've had tons of green highlighted squads instantly open fire on me, none I observed from a distance showed anything but green.

this isnt cod, everyone can be an enemy in the game, your reticle wont be like a simulation game of aaah its so easy i can shoot him but not him. no enemy identification

I've never played and will never play call of pooty. The description literally says it identifies friendlies as green.

Lol.. read the description of the tooltip RE the reticle. The white dot turns green even with no weapons and then youre being robbed. Its a bug most likely, because technically almost anyone can be friendly- but at the beginning they are not.

It's not working at all, just like most of the rest of the game.

Did you have a gun out? Outside of settlements most people will go instantly hostile if they see you with a gun out. There are other things too like being in an area they consider restricted. Things they don't know until they see you and are thus "friendly" until the moment they spot you.

Plenty of white neutral crosshairs out there like border guards. If greens are shooting you then adjust your monitor color.
