Unable to equip holo sight on Viper 5

So I bought a holo sight and I also upgraded the Viper from the tech in the town to support a sight rail, and im still unable to equip the sight. Anyone have an idea? Is this a bug?

I just tried it then and it worked. I had to get the laser before the rail. I assume that was the same for you?

It's definitely a bug. I 1st upgraded to the laser sight. This worked properly. Then when I had enough cash I added the scope mount. A smol fortune later I then bought the holo sight from Hamster.

I was able to mount it (there's even an FPV animation while you mount it) and the rectangular reflex sight with the red reticle appeared on the model and worked.

Later on I noticed that the holo sight was back in my inventory and I was unable to mount it again. The picatinny rail disappeared from the weapon model and it only has iron sights for zooming. Not even the laser works anymore. The weapon is fully upgraded and the module squares for both the laser and scope mount are green on the upgrades screen - and you can't "redo" the upgrade with the technician.

I'm now thinking that the weapon is bog standard in action and none of the upgrades I paid for actually work.
