Do bloodsuckers need a health nerf?
They just aren't fun to fight right now, I roll my eyes whenever I have to fight one and think to myself "here we go again hopping at a 45 degree angle and popping one shotguns blast every time it decloaks for the next 5 minutes or face tanking it mag dumping 4 mags out of an AK."

The one in the introduction is especially bad. The first time you meet it you just...die. It somehow survives a full mag from both rifles you're carrying at that stage - which is wild beyond words in a game that pretends to be about merging realism with fiction.

Really unfun enemies. Honestly I don't think I like a single of the mutant enemies I have seen so far. They're all different flavors of annoying.

jeez so many kids crying about bloodsucker, its need to be dangerous mutant, its a zone where people come to make money, but they can lose their lifes in one second. its not a park or something like that, i played 1 hour, and died 2 times
first time on first bloodsucker, 2nd time on first bandits

But they aren't dangerous at all... they're just complete bullet sponges. You take unavoidable (from what I can tell) damage from them before they run away. So it's just "take damage -> use heal, reload -> take damage -> use heal, reload -> take damage -> use heal, reload -> thing dies". There is nothing scary or threatening about them. They deal little damage and take an immense amount. You have to pump in 70+ 7.62x39mm into them before they topple - enough to kill ten humans and then some.

Tips I've learned so far:

- Listen closely, you can hear them approach. As they get close, do a tight circle strafe, and they should miss. Don't stand still vs. them - they lock in a lunge direction as they come out of invisibility that you can strafe out of the way of (but you have to start strafing before the lunge starts using audio cues)
- Shotgun is your friend vs. bloodsuckers. They're too fast to track well with automatic fire. I've had more luck with buckshot at close range than with slugs. On normal difficulty (the middle option), it takes three shots ~
- As with everything else, body shots do about 1/10th or less the damage of headshots. If you successfully circle strafed them, they stagger for a second on the miss, allowing you to line up the headshot.
- use choke points such as doorways, or corners to control their approach

Dude tell me how fun and not tedious they are to fight after you fight one every ten minutes and then spend 5-10 minutes fighting them. They aren't difficult they are tedious, don't act like a petulant child

i remember in call of pripyat how bloodsucker jumpout from swamp and took me from behind, i left with 25% hp and i was in exosuit... after i shoot him exactly 2-3 mags to kill, bloodsucker in every part of stalker was like here, thats his ability, to go invis and got thick skin... in clear sky u even cant kill him when he in invis, because devs made him immune, and everyone played, and everyone accept that. so take it like in normal, and stop being COD kid

Hardest difficulty I managed to nuke one in about 30-50 seconds. Just emty your clip, soak up a few hits and focus all fire on the chest and head. I think I spend 2 clips on it, but then the game crashed for the 16th time and I had to give up because for every hour I spend trying to play this game, I get 5 minutes of actual playtime.

This. I tried taking down the one in the acid cave, but it was just pointless. The thing could eat a dozen buckshots and even if I tried getting it with a grenade while it was camping behind a corner, it just ignored them completely (or grenades deal 0 damage in general to mutants, idk).

Meanwhile the second it starts chasing you, you basically can toss a coin if it will knock you down and deal 70% of your HP in damage and run away, or smack you again and have you be just dead outright.

I'm sure there are weapons eventually that can deal with them, but it's just a joke atm.

We also accepted that you need to switch controller ports to beat psychomantis, doesn't mean that we want that kind of cheese in every game from now on. Also - I don't remember these ♥♥♥♥♥ running around in every second area. They were endgame enemies, which you fought in endgame gear. Here they are everywhere.

Call of Pripyat had the best Bloodsuckers challenge to spawn frequency and I'm old enough to remember people didn't like the Bloodsuckers in Clear Sky Buckaroo because of the very reason you listed but people were more accepting of it because it only took 5/6 shotguns blasts not 20, for perspective it only took 3-5 shotgun blasts to kill a snork in Clear sky and people hated them more because of frequency and the fact you'd fight at least 3 at a time usually.

I'm actually starting to be of the viewpoint bloodsucker spawns are bugged. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fought five of them at once, I spent most of the time stun locked by their scream before I said ♥♥♥♥ it and just reverted to a save 10 minutes prior to the start of the fight.

There's already a Mod out for the Gamma Discord server. It can also be found on Nexus.

They're getting to work already along with a overhaul Weight Carry system. Potentially if enough feedback I'm certain Devs will nerf it a little.

Get Real, Call of pripyat it takes 8 rounds centermass to down a bloodsucker.
Currently it's 2 full mags.

You are epitome of what's wrong in society, even faced with blatant absurdity you'll beat a dead horse won't you? Prove me wrong & be quiet.

In every game that is unbalanced you will have white knights trying to go "gid gud", even though it's just a question of resources spent vs what you get out of it. You get nothing out mutants and they eat up tons of ammo + money since you need to repair the gun.

Mutants need a health nerf across the board. Controllers are tanking 6-9 grenades and not dying. Lmfao
