Can't equip holo on viper-5

Like title says. Holographic sight claims it support the Viper-5 but there is no option to equip it.

you need to go to the tech and get the rail upgrade to be able to mount it.
(the tech is right next door to the shop)

the upgrades system is a bit confusing too.
it mentions "apply" for x$cost
but the only way i found to do it is double left click the improvement to buy/apply it.

i also cant seem to turn on my laser pointer with that upgrade either. when i first installed it, i saw it, now i dont see that as being on anymore.

Incorrect. Check again. You have to upgrade the weapon by the technician and then you will be able to mount holo sight. Did it myself.

Also confusing how they leave the upgrade price as if you didn't already buy it

I was able to mount it, but only after I equiped the gun.

PS: Upgrade isn't called a "rail," but states that it allows various scopes to be attached. It is the first upgrade on the barrel (followed by laser upgrade).
