Wait, you're telling people to do the main quest in an open world game, that ends the game by doing the main quest O.o? You jest, right? Open world games are notorious for making people waste time doing random other events before the story events.
and that was 40 hours ago.
Posted a comparison of all the stalker games (Not modded.) in comparison to S2. The bloodsuckers went down in less than a mag of AR, or 2 shots from a spas. Vs the bloodsucker at the start for the person was 3 and a half magazines of AR416. Granted, it isn't the best weapon and he was hip firing, those shots were hitting hence the red mist.
Ahh yeah Fleshes taking at least 4 point blank shotgun shots to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ face in STALKER 2 is normal when they are literally one of the weakest of mutants in all the previous STALKER games that would go down in 2 maybe 3 shots at most! I honestly doubt you played the previous 3 games if you think the amount of damage mutants can take in this game is fine...
They aren't bugged though. The modders already discovered why they are surviving. They have 30 armor points. You have to outdo the armor with armor pen and people simply don't have that early game, or sometimes even late game depending on the weapon. A M860 wil slugs and pen increase, can drop them in 2-3 shots. How many people you think have those readily available to deal with sometimes 2 suckers at a time?
A full magazine should take down that beast.
Although S1 had slightly different types of bloodsuckers even the strongest one(who had a weak cloak) was weaker.
And they also seem to be MORE common than in S1.
Way too common.
Not worth the ammo to fight them.
Flesh is also much stronger and no longer dies from a 1-2 close-range shotgun shot.
Seems to be even stronger than a S2 Boar.
Dogs seem to be in the same health or close to it.
Most Mutants seem to be slightly stronger but maybe because S2 veterans nerfs player dmg to 75% that gives mutants 133% EHP.
S2 Repair costs are MUCH higher than S1 repair costs they are even higher than many hardcore moded S1........
So fighting mutants cost a lot of money in S2.
And A-life is much more"rare"in S2 so you are less likely to meet random stalkers fighting mutants and or you flee into a nearby wandering friendly group so they help you fight them.(Often how I killed Chimeras in S1).
It also seems the headshot dmg bonus to mutants is much less in S2 than in S1.
Stalker's health seems to be around the same in the series.
I think the S2 player on Veteran is slightly more tanky than the S1 player on Master.
