What order to play STALKER games?
Suppose I own all the STALKER games on Steam, but have never played them... what is the best order to play them? Normally I just play in release order. And should any of them be skipped now, e.g. does not hold up well in 2024? Thanks!

SoC then Clear Sky and then CoP. Clear Sky is prologue to SoC but if you haven't played SoC id start there

Start with SoC since it sets the atmosphere and feel of the whole universe very well.

I'd suggest playing them all in order for their stories. Then doing your own thing in STALKER Anomaly.

(That is how I enjoyed the games anyway.)
