RYZEN 5 AND RX 5700 XT SUPREMACY
After so much waiting, so much intrigue and so much hard work to build a modest but combat-ready PC, I'm enjoying S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 to the max. On medium graphics and with FSR activated. It runs smoothly, few bugs so far and a hell of a performance.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the hardware you got. I have the RX 5700 XT. Thing is though I only have the i5 9600k. It was supposedly a really good gaming cpu at the time but not sure how it will handle this or some other things now. 4K medium is always the goal but I bet I should be aiming for 1440p medium / low mix.

I wouldn't hold your breath for 4k. but so far full AMD rigs really seem to be doing well with newer games

The zone awaits you bro. I would love to run in epic graphics and 4k, but that time will come. I always remember that my first experience with Clear Sky was with a very modest PC and I played it in low graphics and resolution, I enjoyed it a lot, this experience is similar, the game looks and feels fantastic.

16 or 32 GB for ram? Pretty similar rig here but worried about performance, I don't mind low or medium settings.

16gb, the performance is great! to me this is so surreal.

yo bro can u maybe share some settings ? i got a rx 5700xt and a ryzen 5600x and even on medium i barely hit 50fps... only with frame gen on it hits 90... but that input delay is crazy... i dunno why it runs so bad for me.

I think we have very different understanding of the meaning of 'great' performance. Perhaps I just have much higher standards that you. I have 7900xt and 5800x and 32gb System RAM. This game runs like trash. Having to rely on FSR 3 and FrameGen (a cruch) to pull 90fps is a joke. It doesn't look great, either. So... I think maybe you just have a great time at 30fps@1080p or whatever. Good for you.

I don't understand why the fact that I can enjoy a game from the saga of my childhood is so annoying to you.

try to optimize by touching the graphics settings.
