Wtf is this error???
I can't start the game...

Don't bother. I've reinstalled 3 times on 3 different drives. same error...

I just received feedback from our tech experts and they confirmed that the latest patch may generate a false-positive Trojan flag from Windows Defender. This is related to the game's DRM security.

Here are a few solutions in order to be able to actually download the patch and play the game -> Disable Windows Defender or add
<Steamlibrary/steamapps/common/STALKER2HEARTOFCHORNOBYL/binaries/win64/Stalker2-Win64-shipping.exe"

Ok fixed it.
I'm running AVAST, I had to add exceptions to STALKER2 exe and restore the files from quarantine.

I had the same issue after messing around with some file settings and apparently changing the compatibility settings of the stalker2-win64-shipping.exe to allow it to run as an administrator breaks it completely.

Adding the Stalker2 and Stalker2-Win64-Shipping files as exceptions to antivirus didn't help me but what I have done was I done the it will run as admistration and that totally braked it and when I undo what I have done it works again.
