Weapon attachment not working

I've got a Viper-5 and a sight. It says it fits onto Viper-5. Can't put it on

when i click scope mount it wont let me

There seems to be an upgrade that removes the ability to apply a rail to the Viper. If this is a bug or intended, I cannot tell.

I cannot get the mount upgrade at all. The game ignores my click on it. Other items upgrades does work.
It looks like, its a Viper bug.

Yep, I had the mount at first, but then clicked at it again and it disappeared. Can't put it on my gun again, it just won't let me.

Had the same issue, thought that one attachment breaks the mount for the scope. But no, actually 2/3 of them do. At least for me, any new mod I bought in the barrel "point" made scope not usable.

So here's the solution: you unmount your scope (press T), then you go to install other mods. Install everything you want, then go out of the shop, press T again and voila you can use the scope again.

Have you looked at your viper 5? Does it have a rail? If not, how the ♥♥♥♥ is it going to mount a red dot on it? That is your answer.

Go talk to a guy who does work on guns like say a gunsmith or an armorer or a technician

Big issue with the halo sights removing itself from the viper-5 it’s a bummer the sight was awesome now the bug is wrecking my immersion and fun. :(

It’s a bug. Load a previous save and try again. I did it without buying the holo sight or repairing first.
