Anyone able to explain the graphics settings to me?
Either I'm misunderstanding how things work or the game is bugging out for me. So the up scaling technology stuff, that's only really for when you're trying to make something on a smaller res monitor look higher resolution, right? So why do things look worse when I disable it? Everything gets all fuzzy and distorted looking and if I turn up the sharpness it looks way too dithered like there's black dots all over the place.

To make matters worse, any upscaling solution I've tried still looks off somehow, like things further away look like they're aliasing real bad and look distorted, mostly the vegetation when I'm walking around in the woods, it just looks wrong.

I'm hoping someone understands this stuff better than I do and can help me out, or confirm that I'm having some kinda visual bug.

having the same issue here. i think its honestly because the game is desinged as a console game first they expect people to be on 4k tvs sitting on a couch so anything else than 1440p looks garbage. i hate upscalling as it renders initally on lower res which is terrible on a 1080p monitor

Whatever the problem was got resolved for me after the game crashed and it downloaded some "update" - downside is my FPS whet from around 120 to 60 at max settings - which is perfectly playable, I'm just noting that I was indeed experiencing some kind of bug where the game was upscaling from a lower resolution rather than using the native one
