I think the game would of been better in XRAY engine

Lets be honest
no sitting there waiting for shaders.
Take a hit in graphics

It's absurd you download the game(They didnt let you pre load) then you also have to wait an extra 10 minutes for the shaders to complie.

Xray looked amazing and had "character". But part of its character was unfortunately also being very unstable and nightmare to mod. It looked amazing, it didnt run that amazing.

but I don't know a single game that has good mods that is UE

I see, well i dont think it was pleasant way how to achieve your goal. My point is that Xray is obsolete while still charming. You kinda wanna modern features and they arnt there, to get them there... good luck.

UE5 isn't a good engine.
Its just easy.

You are right there, looking at steams of the game, unreal is not a good choise for stalker, I donno other engines to fit the role besides X-Ray, should have worked for a new X-Ray engine
