I'm having the same issue, BIOS, GPU, and Windows is up to date. Not sure what else to try, I've reinstalled the game 3 times now and verified the files every time, I've even tried launching the game as Admin too.

yeah. 15 minutes in, already 2 freezes. That's cyberpunk level bad. "In development" since 2002, allegedly.

I'm running a 6800XT so it's not solely an Nvidia issue
For me it is crashing the whole pc while compiling shaders.

same as OP, GTX 1660 SUPER, i5-12400
I have a 13900K and didn't realise I had the instability issue and so needed to update my bios with Intel's microcode - now it does not crash at the compiling shader stage.
Buy AMD
