FSR 3 Framegen FPS drops

Hey peeps. Does anyone else have an issue while using framegen? I get a steady 60 to 70 fps on all medium and DLSS when it's on, but occasionally the game will freeze for a couple seconds and drop fps to 10 momentarily.

I have a 2070 and an i7-9750h and 32gb ram

happens with DLSS frame gen aswell i thing its an issue with the game overall

It makes no difference if I have FG on or off. The only difference is that instead of dropping to low fps from 70 it will do it from 100.

Yeah, im playing with a RTX 2060 super and if i use Frame gen, the game starts stuttering a lot

Frame gen is bad for me. Maybe if you fall below vsync fps it's bad?

Can try turning off light shafts if get stuttering again.

omg It was frame gen the whole time that caused that?. I've had an annoying lag / stutter here and there and also when I close the escape menu or the PDA, turned frame gen off and now It's gone wtf.

Its weird cause im using my 6800xt and just with fsr im on around 50-65 maybe in some areas 70+ fps. Its dropping to 50 in the towns where is a lot of nps but no stutters or lags. Then when i tried framegen on it took me to 120 - 130 fps and no noticeable latency at all. Was so surprised cause it feels so smooth for some reason

It’s been reported a current memory leak is happening with frame gen. I turned it off and the game is running well on 1440p w my 4060ti now.

Not related, I never played with enabled. Just with frame gen im stuttering

I don't have frame gen on, it drop to 10fps from 40fps at times and cut scenes

As an update guys, what fixed it for me was updating nvidia GPU drivers.

Yeah happens to me as well, seems to happen in areas with high concentrations of NPCs

Try to lock 30 fps in settings - display. With framegen shows 60fps. It helped me
