No Keybind option for "Melee Strike or Flashlight"

Currently the stock strike is set to V and the Flashlight is set to Middle Mouse click.
I'd like to be able to swap them.

I know. I'm just saying, it'd be nice if there was a way to rebind the melee strike and the light. Even if i hit L, instead of the Middle Mouse button, to turn the Light on and off, that doesn't help with the melee being on the V key.

I'm getting old. I have old fingers. I'm not as dexterous as i used to be. I like things that I need to hit quickly on keys that i don't have to stretch for or fumble with. =P

I could put the melee strike on the Middle Mouse button, and then put the light on the V, or just hit L, as the light is something I can take a second to toggle.

Consider yourself lucky with these problems ;-)

I am left handed and the game is downright unplayable for me with these hardcoded keybinds. And yes, I pre-ordered the ultimate edition...

I hope that they will fix this and make ALL keys rebindable.

You can press "e" while the radial menu is open to turn it on and off easily but my first impulse was to remove the radial and put the Inventory on tab where it should be.

Ah I just came to complain that tab-e was a really annoying way to have to turn on the flash lught. So L works too? Can you rebind it?

u can not rebind it, yet at least, but u can toggle it on/off on middle mouse button

I more bothered about melee being stick to V. Considered the obscure keys they do let you rebind, its crazy you cant do these two.

I'm really glad others are having trouble with the melee/v keybinds and others too. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. All I wanted was to have melee bound to my mouse, it's a drag pressing v for melee and of course others just not working despite the settings reflecting you changed them... None of the devs thought about that? Lol

There is a lot of issues with the controls. When you go up a ladder it's bound to W no matter what your forward is set to. There are other examples as well. You can't change the "hands" control in the radial menu. It's Z no matter what.

I've waited WAY too long for this to get hamstrung by bad PC port decisions. At this point of PC gaming NO key should be hard coded ... WT actual F

Spot on same issues here. As a lefty this game isnt playable without full rebind access. Luckily i didnt pre-order so ive requested a refund. Such a shame. I really can't understand why any developer would neglect such a basic function.
