Linux support?
For my Linux users out there, success?

I've waited a long, long time for this.

Worked for me out of the box. (I use...) Archlinux (...btw.).
Just my mouse feels kinda weird and laggy.

Proton 9.15
Works fine for me on Linux. No tinkering. Latest experimental. I have submitted my ProtonDB report, but it has not yet been posted.
Thanks guys!

I will be purchasing and testing it myself.

EndeavorOS, MATE

Would you be willing to share some more details? I'm running Linux mint 22 Cinnamon with latest firmware and drivers. Unable to launch the game. Crash before it launches. Any ideas or info would be appreciated!
I expected worse based on the initial reviews and other UE5 games in general, but it seems fine enough:

That's High preset with DLSS Quality + FG
I recommand proton experimental if you have a 40XX Nvidia card: this month Valve has added DLSS3 and Frame Generation to proton experimental.

for the performance it's that kind of game that run better on GNU/Linux than on Windows 😅

No FPS drop for me today... Will continue my journey tomorrow ^^
I've come back to say I played about 3hrs of this game, and i have absolutely zero performance issues. If anything, I had to double check but everything set to Epic, FSR at 66, and the entire experience was smooth and looked great.

Had to stop myself because I have to work..sigh

specs:

Any progress guys? If you managed to figure something out, please post it here... Same problem with me. Linux Mint Cinnamon 22, i9-14900HX, RTX4090, 94GB RAM, 4k res...

On Proton Experimental crashes with "An Unreal process has crashed: UE-Stalker2".
On Proton 9.0-3 just shuts down immediately with no info.
That's Great News for me.I always liked to play Games on Linux more than on Windows. These Proton Guys are Amazing!New NvMe ssd incoming only for linux.
Works very well on Linux. I get around 100 FPS most of the time, except locations with lots of NPCs, in those I have about 5-15 FPS less then on Windows. Also had a single crash during about 25 hours of playing. Shader compilation was quite long though, the first two launches it took a good half an hour, then it gradually became faster and after +10 launches it's at about 1-2 minutes max.
Runs very well, no crashes no leaks (noticeable to me at least). But I have low end PC and run on mid/low settings
