If it doesn't help it could be related to newer intel CPUs. Updating your BIOS may help.
I once had issues that I narrowed down to my CPU. I sent it back to the manufacturer and they ran tests. They said it had faulty L2 cache and sent me a replacement. It ran many games fine. Other games made it crash like crazy.
You know what caused it to crash the most? Reverb sounds like it caves. So, weird stuff makes it happen. It all depends on how intensive the application on and how exactly it tries to use your hardware.
