P.S. Nice NickName ;)
"so have somehow managed to get mine to run again, no crashes for about 4hrs - hopefully this helps someone else, these are the things i changed - not sure which one is responsible for solving the issue:
1. in Nvidia Control panel > manage 3d settings > scroll to bottom > Vulkan/OpenGL present method > prefer Native
2. Downloaded this mod ( Optimised Tweaks s.2) https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/7
3. removed all forms of FSR from the in game settings, using DLSS only (ie. choose DLSS over FSR & disable FSR frame gen)
Game runs a bit slower, but at least i can play now. sometimes the game freezes for a second and feels like its going to crash, but then carries on as normal. None of this is ideal, and its very disappointing, but like i said at least i can play."
