Finally found a fix for the Mouse / Input Lag (good fps but feels like 30)
For all those who also have a problem that the game feels like it's running at 40 fps, even if you're running on 100+ fps or have the feeling of having an input lag of 100ms, I finally found a fix after checking some posts here.

The issues were due to mouse smoothing, mouse acceleration and the fact that the vertical mouse sensitivity was slower than the horizontal.

If you wanna try it out yourself:

There is a file called ‘Input.ini’ in the following folder:

"\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\WinGDK"
"\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows\"

The following parameters must be written into it:

[/script/engine.inputsettings] bEnableMouseSmoothing=False bViewAccelerationEnabled=False RawMouseInputEnabled=1

Then save and make it read-only.

Get in game and be happy, that we can finally play the Stalker 2. :)

for me MouseSensitivityCoef = 0.025
AimMouseSensitivityCoef = 0.025

worked pretty well for me in terms of sensitity. Leaving this here for other people :)

I tried around different settings yesterday. I also set it to exclusive fullscreen mode. But that did nothing for me.

The same you edited it. Just revert the changes. For the Input.ini, delete everything and for the AppliedSettings.cfg change the values to the one before. Or delete them, they will be regenerated by the game again.

Just remove read-only from the file, go ingame and set your sensitivity!?
You only need to put this in input.ini

[/script/engine.inputsettings]
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
bViewAccelerationEnabled=False

No, this just removes mousesmoothing and -acceleration. The other tweak also fixes the vertical and horizontal mouse sensitivity, not being at the same speed in game. Which feels super weird, without the fix.

I've updated my original post, due to some better option for the vertical / horizontal issue. Check it out! :)

Im using the raw mouse input version and it's working pretty well but it seems to stutter the mouse movement, anyone got any ideas?

Works! Thanks a bunch

omg, it's crazy that the internet is full of ways to fix this input delay, but I don't know if and which ones are helpful. Still, it's sad that the developers apparently can't solve the problem themselves and are relying on us to tinker with the configs ourselves to solve it.

To the developers, it's your job to get this under control.

How can such an error even happen? It must be noticeable that the mouse control is so delayed.
