Artifact Not showing up for the first Quest

For some reason the first artifact that you are supposed to look for in the acid pool anomaly isn't showing up. I tried going around waiting till my scanner to stop beeping and it isn't showing up I tried restarting my game , load back to old saves, and starting a new game and still not showing up. Is anyone else having this problem?

It didn't actually appear for me until I got close enough to it. Once the beeping on your detector gets fast enough to become a continuous tone, it should show up.

same for me, I have been in every acid pool crouched as well to make sure

Change Graphic settings to high. Appeared after this.

In my case, it didn’t matter how close I was to the puddle. It was a bug, and only changing the graphic settings helped

I restarted the game, and it worked after. You also have to stay in place for a while (as I noticed) for the artefact to appear.

oh I found a solution!

change my graphic setting from high to medium and it appeared right away !

Changing graphics settings for higher (to medium, as I play on low) have worked for me as well, thanks.

Stand still near it and it will show up.

Change graphics to epic and it popped straight up

Yes, I have also experienced it before. After loading an earlier archive than the previous one, the task became normal when I came to this place again, inexplicably.
