Stuck on the loading screen

Found like 10 people with the same problem. Furthermore, each time I open the game it says I've opend it for the first time...

Same thing. Getting out of Video Memory error as well. Latest Nvidia drivers installed and everything. 4090 GPU. Not a great start.

I can't get passed the shader optimization screen

For anyone finding this thread in the future; here's what I did:

1. Navigate to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Stalker2 in your file browser
   You can easily do this by pressing Windows Button + R, then typing %LOCALAPPDATA%\Stalker2 and then pressing OK
   
2. Delete the Saved folder
   
3. Launch STALKER 2 via Steam
   
4. Configure your settings, but DO NOT PRESS 'NEW GAME'!
   
5. Press 'QUIT' in the game main menu
   This ensures your settings are saved properly for the next launch
   
6. Launch STALKER 2 again via Steam
   
7. Start a new game in your chosen slot
