it must be radiation. Just wait for a patch guys, it will be so great , the performance will make you feel like you are playing Tetris and still have 500 FPS cushion left....
Yes, it worked very well for me. Keep everything as default (list size is at least: 1024 MB & free memory is lower than 1024) and do not check any timer resolution features, press Start, minimize it (it will be minimized to the taskbar and run in the background), launch the game. This worked for me. I also tried with "list size is at least: 1024 MB" & "free memory is lower than 10240 MB" and they worked. If possible, I prefer using 1024/1024 as it will lead to a less aggressive pattern at purging the standby list & system working set by the ISLC tool.
I installed the game ready drive update on Nvidia's webpage and it resolved the issue for me.
Im using a RTX 2060 card. VRAM is however maxed all the time, but it works pretty well.
Downloaded this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/7?tab=files
And also turned off Lighting Shafts, seems to be better now but tbh I have to try it a longer time.
Thanks, but a memory leak issue can't be fixed by editing a game .ini or updating GPU drivers. Downgrading visuals, and disabling or lowering graphics settings are partial ways to slow down the unavoidable occurrence of the performance drop over time. Also, using the ISLC tool is just a way to prevent the drop in performance, not the issue that will trigger anyway. The problem will continue there and its root cause will remain and only the developers can solve this mess of VRAM & System RAM mismanagement by the game.
I have a 3050ti as well. After the FPS drop, 1.5GB of video memory is loaded and the graphics chip is running at 7% capacity. You can't justify dropping FPS from 70 to 5 WITHOUT RESTORING in this way. It's not about lag for a while, FPS drops and doesn't go up. Before that, the video card was running at full power and was producing 60-70 frames on low settings.
