SAVE YOUR PROLOGUE ITEMS

I'll keep this vague for spoiler reasons.

In the Prologue when your reach your third objective to place the item, turn right and enter the garage with the broken down truck. Inside there's a box. Put all your medkits, food, etc in there. Guns will not carry over.

Finish the prologue and then check the box after the end. All your stuff will still be there.

I've tried several guns now and they won't carry over, can confirm

Also if you installed within the first hour, check for an update. Might help Performance.

It seems you lose all items for x reasons, but through the method mentioned by Lord Dynal, you can keep everything except guns

Its just a few medkits and some ammo. You should be using them up in the fight anyways

I had quite a few medkits of different types and a lot of ammo, but to each their own. Suppose this thread is more of a suggestion for people who may not be used to a STALKER title.

I own all the STAKER games and have many hours playing them even more-so in COP due to, the replay ability. The Zone was my home for a long time, all of them. I've just not heard the term, 'carry over' before. Reason for asking.
