Game is a flop?

I have it on steam and my brother on XBOX. I'm waiting for new RAM in the mail so i haven't tried it myself yet.

Xbox for some reason has to install it multiple times before it finally sticks, and then everyone says there is terrible lag and stick drift. And then on here everyone says it is completely broken and laggy as well.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE stalker, been playing for a decade, but it seems for the vast majority of people it just isn't running well or running at all

It's so bad. Main quests break and require a restart, audio is bugged, AI is braindead like most of the STALKER fanbase.

Have you actually played it? Trying to figure out whether or not to buy or wait til after the new year and some patches but getting an honest answer that isn't just "Youtuber I like says so" on this forum is next to impossible.

Well I was trying to on XBOX, but it doesnt seem the game is working very well for anyone on there. Can't even install it
On PC it looks like you have to have the most expensive brand new high-end parts to get it to run. The recommended specs don't seem to be cutting it in reality.

Yeah that would be nice if I could get it to run, haha. You are not reading what I am saying, or what most people are saying. Most people cant even get it to run, and the few that do, most of them say it just crashes and lags too much.

The day one patch is almost the exact size of the full game install, that's legit.

Reading his review real quick, he did play it for about 35 minutes it seems.

"Playing" just means the program is open. Doesn't mean its not crashing or running well
