that's the up-scaling and framegen for you. Turn off DLSS or TSR or whatever was offered.

Put this in %APPDATA%\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows\Input.ini:

[/script/engine.inputsettings]
AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="MouseX",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.000000,Sensitivity=0.07,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))
AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="MouseY",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.000000,Sensitivity=0.07,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
bViewAccelerationEnabled=False

turn off frame gen. I do not understand how people don't perceive it's problems

It helped me A LOT. but my mouse sensitivity now is like 700 times higher and i don't know how to fix that. i commended # string 2,3. Now it feels much better

This and you can keep DLSS upscaling on.

Agreed. Died 3 times during the prologue while playing on the easiest difficulty when 3 soldiers attacked me and shot me down in seconds... I didn't even get a chance to rotate the camera and point at them properly.

The game runs pretty rough right now, but turning off frame generation helped me.

I would also recommend making this file read-only afterwards just incase we have a situation like Bethesda games, where future updates and DLC re-write the mouse smoothing back on.

This makes the sensitivity extremely high even on 0 in game. Any way to fix it? I tried messing with the numbers but nothing worked.

also have issues with the sensitivity here unfortunately, anyone got a fix?

I wouldn't dig through the ini if you don't have to. There are easy to install mods on Nexus Mods that will fix it for you. Or you can just adjust your mouse DPI.
