Keybind Bug

I'll just start off with this; it is indeed possible to change *some* keybinds.

That being said, Numpads can hardly be used at all (Numpad 1-2-3-5; moves the camera for some reason.) Also, when trying to bind Flashlight to the Numpad 1, it won't overwrite that weird camera control, and when bound to Numpad 4, it just won't work and keep working with "L" for some reason. But I can bind Crouch to Numpad 6 with no issues....? I'm a bit confused and I'd think this is caused by some issue somewhere, but thought it could be brought to the attention of the devs hopefully.

Disclaime; I'm playing with a Razer Naga, hence all the numpad binds.

they have released three patches but they have yet to adress this obvious issue...incredible, Iam putting the game on hold until they fix this. I found a workaround but its just too awkward to get it working and I still cant use all my numpad keys....and everytime I have to walk a ladder I have to use W and S keys...

Lefty here as well. After looking forward to this game for so long, to say I was disappointed at their implementation of key rebinds would be an understatement. I have refunded the game and will wait and see if they ever fix the keybinds. Back to stalker gamma for me.

I'm doing the same. I won't refund as I plan on playing this once I can actually bind keys. As it sits, I use right mouse button to move forward. This works fine until I select the bolt to set off anomalies. I can only strafe, which isn't acceptable. So, I'm also putting this one on the shelf.

XBOX game pass version on PC here. Keyboard bindings are fixed! I'm a lefty so thank god they finally addressed this. I can fully map my arrow keys and all others as well

Incase you dont know, the flashlight doesnt matter to enemies, they dont see it. Several people tested this, you see it, they dont. So feel free to light them up.

worth a read, the head developer basically admitted the Alife2 is nonexistent and he doesnt even know why the enemies spawn out of nowhere on top of each other, LMAO

Not sure if it's a different version. I fired it up today after saying forget it, tried remapping the keys and it worked. I'll check the version number
