Same, I legit had to stop playing, it's impossible to move with coordination. Here's hoping this gets fixed soon!
Yes you can but the issue is not that. It's that the analog sticks register input at the slightest touch which is not how it's supposed to be. Every game that's playable with a an analog controller has a so called deadzone, meaning the further you press the stick the higher the input. The input typically starts registering after about 5-10% of movement on the stick.
In this game it starts registering movement instantly at the slightest touch, meaning the analog stick behaves as if it was digital. This makes it feel like your character is gliding across ice.
I've been in contact with the STALKER 2 team through their official website and they've told me they are aware of the issue. Let's hope this gets fixed soon because right now it makes the game unnecessarily hard to play.
It would probably help if more people reached out to them, so they'll see the urgency of the issue.
Thanx, and yes the game is great. Sadly with the current controller issues I've had to set the game to rookie difficulty and aim assist to full in order to stand a chance in gun battles. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. They were fast to reply to my message so I have good hopes they'll look into it.
