S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - Stutter & Lag FIX

If you are having problems with stutters and quick lag & fps drop, I highly recommend using my solution. It will make your game smooth with ~stable fps, it worked for me. No stutters, no fps drops, smooth gameplay.

If the previous method did not help you, use this one. For the Steam version: %localappdata%\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows

1) Create and open Engine.ini
2) Paste this:

Delete Film Grain and Chromatic Aberration

For the Steam version: %localappdata%\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows

1) Open Engine.ini
2) Backup original (Clone original Engine.ini to desktop)
3) Open Engine.ini, and paste this:

Disabled Ray Tracing and its other components for more FPS

true af my friend, any wonder why i dont have any Engine.ini in my localapp folder? only bunch of other .INIes-minies but cant find it...

Try to create a text document and rename it to "Engine.ini", or clone some "ini" document inside the folder, and rename it to "Engine", erase everything inside the "ini" document and enter the commands listed above there

How is your 3080ti staying that cool? What resolution and graphical settings are you playing on? I have the same card and mine was in the high 80°C range and it even hit 92°C. I had to lower the power consumption from 350w to 250w to keep it at 60°C.

I'm using following mod and it fixed a lot of spikes and memory leaks. It has some blinking textures etc, but the performance is stable at 60FPS lowest on Epic settings and DLAA.

I wouldn't know, resolution 2560x1440 with a screen at 144 Hz (MSI trio) I'll take a picture of it tonight.

Unfortunately I can't post pictures here. After an hour of gaming the temps are: CPU 57 degrees and GPU 70.4 degrees. The fans of the 3080ti 1300 rpm.

Download Optimized Tweaks BOOST (2nd in the list)
Removes FPS drops, makes game stable

Some textures can be lagging, but i think thats a pretty low price for playing)
