Everyone from IGN to polygon to no-reputation sites are all saying the same thing, "Game is great but the bugs ruin it" I guess now we know why no reviews, no preload and such heavy banning from the devs. The game is a broken shambles.

I mean I ran into a similar issue with Pax Dei with their developers in their discord.. Giving constructive criticism and they mute/delete your posts and threads because they dont agree it is within their spectrums.. They are an EU company so it fits.

At least American companies just ignore the feedback and give bad updates or reply and not even mention the meat of the post lol.

These guys? They are like the Helldivers 2 devs all over again. Someone mentioned bad frames and I saw the comment deleted in seconds in general tab.

depends whether those complaints were pure examples of whining and vulgar messages or actual constructive criticism, i mean cyberpunk devs were constantly banning and deleting all constructive criticism from their forums and perma banning people on steam community for the first good 9 months since the game was released

What is more f'ed up is Escape from Tarkov being shafted when the russians did their thing over on Ukraine. So it goes both ways with hypocrisy.

I think that sadly, it just proves the devs have not learned anything, or if you want to be less charitable "they've gotten worse" lol the original stalker also wasn't asking for over 110 dollars for the special edition.

What games need to start doing is showing raw un-edited gameplay straight from the devs 1 week before launch and show the bugs and talk about fixing them as they show up in session.

That would go a long way with player trust in pre orders. Rather than just show some cinematic fake gameplay with heavy editing and flashy effects with zero errors in sight.

We don't expect perfection but at least be honest these days. I expected big problems with this release as anyone should and frankly I am ok with jank in games like this. Just wish they were more transparent about it BEFORE the sales.

Try the game yourself and don't be such a shill that you let SOMEONE ELSE tell you to like or dislike a game. Imagine missing out on all the amazing movies and games that got meh reviews on launch... Blade Runner, one of the best movies of all time, TRASHED on release, same with The Shining and many other movies and games.

Stop relying on one person to tell you if you will like a game or not. I LOVE SKillups work but I disagree with him 50% of the time. Its much better to make your own mind up, do you REALLY expect to agree with a reviewer 100% of the time? GROW UP and make your own opinion you lemming!

thats just inflation and game prices (and the prices of everyting really) going to ♥♥♥♥. gsc wouldnt be my definition of a "high budget studio" so its kind of to be expected with the bugs, (not an excuse, just being reasonable)

When developers have a good product they're proud to show raw footage.
When developers have a poor product they censor and try to trick the consumer.
