Preorder and Ultimate/Deluxe bonuses

we recently have preordered the game for my dad, a huge stalker fan.

we bought the ultimate edition as... well he's my dad he deserves the best, anyways...
now when we would play the game together (me watching him play or me helping him with something ingame) we always ended up choosing the hard way of obtaining valuable items such as suits, guns and artifacts now my question relates upon the bonuses regarding the versions mentioning guns, suits and such which shall be given to you... as soon as the game starts? after the first playthrough? hidden through quests?

since lets be real, the struggle of fighting through the zone with the resources you have makes the game so many times more immersive than getting an as val(vintar bc) right at the beginning and just walking through the early regions like its a highschooler taking 1st and 2nd grade tests...

i'd be inclined to hear about your thoughts of the bonuses that you'll be given, even by just preordering the game.
