1). “Veteran” Rifle - a decent rifle? (desciption is a bit cryptic)
2). “Tourist” Suit - ...Redesigned pockets, a corset that relieves the back, additional pouches and a travel backpack allow you to carry more weight...
3). Unique “Stalker” Backpack - Exclusive backpack model with an Early Bird patch.
4). Campfire content - Guitar tunes & Additional stories
In my opinion only campfire content is crucial for STALKER 2 lore / atmosphere, I wouldn't be surprised if GSC will offer it as a standalone DLC later on.

But well, i guess i'm used to have 0 gear at the start of a new game as a GAMMA player....
I mean it's like fallout new vegas. If you're worried about having an advantage you can just drop the items and not use em.
But in any case dropping the items in the beginning of the game could break the immersion, saving those items for later only to sell them to the first ecnountered trader (and give away all the money from profits to nearest bandits) sounds more like it.
