There's nothing to "argue" about or even debate. They've been very closed lipped about many features many have been curious of. We've all asked but been told multiple times about their NDA and what GSC Prophet can or cannot share.
This close to release, that is worrying, no matter what game it is. I've never seen a game so closed off from showing itself off like this, and actually succeed both technically and financially. It's worrying.
It's the same exact type of situation where a developer declares a review embargo until the day of or after release, and we all know how the vast majority of those situations go.
By contrast, games that have been transparent and have shown off a lot have been by and large successful. Space Marine II is doing an absolutely stellar job in terms of marketing and community communication with everything they've shown, for example. More transparency and more communication almost always leads to more good will and better sales, but here we keep hearing things like "We cannot share at this time" over and over when questions are asked. When can anything be shared? We're three months away from "release" unless another delay happens, and if it gets delayed again it might just kill whatever good will is left.
I've seen several articles about how the devs are talking about how they wanna finish up the game but don't give a solid date then I see other material where they say we can step in the zone on the 20th. They're not giving us solid yes or no - they keep being skittish about the date and that's enough for me to say no now.
A real good indicator (at least the logic in my eyes) will be if pre-orders (physical) truly open up by beginning of October - if not then I say it's 100% delayed if we don't get that by beginning of October.
