you'll have to refund and buy the other edition
But since i am a huge enabler i would recommend just refunding your purchase and getting the ultimate edition i mean C'mon you know you wanna.
Hey! Thanks a lot for granting access to the Zone in advance :)
If you are concerned about the amount of digital content in the edition that you have chosen — no worries again. You'll be able to enhance your digital edition of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl to a more expensive one, but it will cost a bit more. We cannot announce the exact date yet, but this option will become possible after some time of the game release.
Story expansions from Season Pass will become available as they are released, but we are not planning to sell Season Pass and Ultimate Edition separately. Although, you will definitely get the opportunity to buy content from it apart. But there will be no option to get the pre-order bonuses another way.
Apologies for the necroposting, but will the upgrade be available with the preorder bonus intact, or will we need to go through a refund process as I've seen in a few other games (even though that's quite a rare practice)? Usually, the upgrade is a straightforward procedure.
it's possible to upgrade version from basic to ultimate after start playing game ?
did you ever figure it out. I'm wanting to upgrade my edition as well.
So this was in Feburary - are there any plans to add this feature soon cause I am not paying another $85 USD for a game I own just for some DLC... I love the game to death but this is a poor practice imo cause even games that just come out day 1 in early-access have upgrade editions so it makes no sense why this one would be held off outside of just not wanting to make it or being to lazy to do so
