One of the CM on discord confirmed today that the official release window is still 2023.
The refunds on the Microsoft store were just a normal procedure due to the change from a precise former release date to a "Coming 2023". It is not linked to another delay we didn't hear about.
That said, I think that the Game Award 2022 on December 8th might give us a clearer view of what to expect from 2023, whether if this will be another year of delays (of games in general, not only Stalker 2) or not. I believe this is the next and last big gaming event of the year.
This part is also untrue, since we know that GSC never requested any refunds and that was a consequence of removing the 2022 release date in Microsoft's systems. Hence why it was only Xbox preorders that were refunded, not anything on PC.
Or straight up getting their death sentence per mail like the 300000 others this week.
All of this is just unnecessary and sad.
Either way, let's hope the world setting for IRL doesn't turn into Global Ch(o/e)rnobyl!
I'd be surprised, even if it's 5 years from now.
