crashed with virus warning about unitycrashhandler64.exe

middle of the game, it suddenly crashes and shuts down, and I get a popup from my antivirus warning me that unitycrashhandler64.exe is infected with idp.alexa.54. Is this a known thing? What is it for, do I need to add an exception to my antivurs to allow it to run?

Your case sounds different so it might be a different issue. You should run a scan first and check if it is the d4.exe that is detected as false positive.
