Vortex space
Imagine you have a 30 demon army.
If they all get wiped, you need 30 vortex "beds" with the first one I think beeing 5x5 and any subsequent beeing I think 3x5 fields. How large does the vortex room have to be?

It's crazy how many fields vortex consumes!

Vortex is only used for reviving dead demons, and they wait in a queue for an opening to be revived. I tend to have about 1 vortex per 5 demons.

Good to learn that after I finished the DLC and the main game. :steamhappy:

Still I think it takes up too much space if you want to go early demons and not run into the risk of digging up spiders/scorpions/lavalings nests.

No it's fine. Demons don't need the equivalent of a Hideout or Graveyard, I normally have a smaller Vortex room for Demons.

Also, I guess I'm quite good at the game, but sometimes I completely forget to build a Vortex, it's not that hard to just not lose your demons, or buy some new ones. It's a completely optional building.
11x11 and you'll have 9 Vortex
