Thalya won't throw Gorgu to summon him (Bug)

Hi,

I have this issue when I want to use Gorgu and click multiple time to "summon him" and it won't work even if I have enough malfeasance points. I just lost a game because of that.

I don't know if others had the same problem, but sometimes spells will have the same issue.

Thalya's spell casting range isn't that long. Did you try casting the spell closer to her?

also seems there are certain areas on map where you cant cast him

I've experienced similar. It hasn't been just Gorgu though. Same problem with the tentacles spell. It's very rare and sporadic and has only happened in the dungeon.

Yeah it was a green area, I was in the dwarves' territory

The trick is to have Thalya AND the dungeon at lvl 6. You can unlock the dungeon to lvl 6 but if Thalya isnt 6 as well then you cannot spawn Gorgu. Also only Thalya can summon him so she has to be where you want to summon him. There is a casting time too when she throws the Absolute Evils helm on the ground to summon, so if she gets stunned or knocked down then it will cancel the animation.
I had this issue last night and my dad and I figured out why it wasnt working.

That's true I forgot about Thalya being level 6, maybe she didn't level up enough, maybe in this case they shouldn't show the icon until her level is high enough then.

Why? Are you one of those do-gooders from the Overworld that's trying to undermine the Absolute Evil?

I'm hoping we can toss the tyke into the Dungeons 4 sacrificial well. And why not? The point is being evil in Dungeons.

I've experienced the bug as well, and this hasn't worked for me. Even with Thalya and Dungeon at lvl 6 and above, Thalya will not summon Gorgu. It seems to be a bug.

I'm also still having this issue - I've even leveled up more or less eeeverything - dungeon and Thalya are lvl 8 and it's literally just refusing to cast the spell :( Won't be easy to finish the map like this...

Game's kinda jank like that, a quick fix though should be to save the game, then load the saved game, the re-loading should reset whatever trigger got stuck that prevents her from casting anything.

can confirm this bug.
did the new skirmish maps and on the first, I only could summon gorgue once, one the second only twice before the button to summon him bugged out.

Hey. FYI I saved, completely closed out of the game, restarted it, loaded the save, and now she can summon him as intended.

It's not her not being lvl 6, this Is a real bug, happened ti me too, Just hating her i let her Always in the dungeon

Unfortunately, I have a similar problem, which I have in practically every game. I can use Gorgu once and it works as usual. After that, Gorgu just doesn't throw any more. The distance doesn't matter at all, even if Talia is currently in combat or not. In this case, I have to restart the game/reload the savegame so that I can use Gorgu again.
