The three previous games are on there....why wouldn't you do that? Makes no sense.
Just saying that DRM doesn't prevent piracy. The games with DRM are usually cracked day 1 of release. lol So this statement has no weight to it.
There is indeed a giant difference between never having had DRM features in a software versus some thief that uses pirated software. Pirates normally inject malicious code into their "products" that enables the pirate to take partial control of the user's pc. Of course people stealing copies from GOG don't have a similar risk so the criminal user would want to steal as "safe" a copy as possible.
Don't use pirated software. It's still immoral and a criminal practice. GOG will remain a niche product without DRM.
And I wouldn't have even known this game existed if a random person hadn't mentioned it on discord with me stumbling upon it on accident.
