Seriously though, I think the new costume is fine, actually better than the Legacy edition costume. The legacy edition still has the base Thalya model with a very similar looking outfit to what she had in Dungeons 3, but not quite.
I do wish she her proportions and skin color was actually accurate to Dungeons 3...
But calling her ugly is ridiculous and dumb...
In a game where you look at them from above and barely see any of their model most of the time no less. It's just sad.
Men like attractive women, deal with it.
You're can like attractive people, but if people here are chronically online weirdos who genuinely get upset that their "waifu" has "less volume around the chest and hips", it's a tad sad/creepy and they should probably touch grass, it's just a game lol.
Edit: Some people below have somehow taken my comment that creeps online, who justify being creepy with "hurr durr but woman" often sharing similar attitudes to those who assault women; to actually mean that I think liking women is the same as literally raping them, herculean leap in logic there but okay.
One resorted to claiming I'm gaslighting them, because I said liking women is literally rape, except you can see here, I didn't... the forums never change.
Really speaks for itself that people here resorted to insulting rather than saying I was interpreting their words incorrectly. If I was wrong why not explain instead of getting upset as many below just have? Doesn't paint a great picture that it was actually all innocent banter if your defense is just "No I just want to write several paragraphs on this characters hips being smaller".
Edit2: I have explicitly stated that rape isn't the same as just liking women, and even edited to make it clearer. Even after the first edit some are still insisting this is what I've said. Strawman arguments don't make you right or me wrong, it just occludes constructive discussion.
Yea because men beeing attracted to pretty women is basically rape. Everyone knows that /s
If liking pretty women in my entertainment makes me a "chronically online weirdo", than so be it. Better that than a neopuritan who thinks men having attraction to prety woman is a sin.
L+Cringe
Didn't your English teacher tell you how to clothe your quotes, Druark?
Now, on its own "they violated my waifu" wouldn't be enough of the reason not to get the game. But on top of everything else it kinda is, you know.
Nice strawman, never said it was akin to rape but it's much easier to say I did because it sounds ridiculous and makes it easier to argue against.
As I said, liking attractive people in your entertainment is fine, being a weirdo who is literally calling video game characters unironically a "waifu" whilst complaining she's not as curvy is just sad.
"Men just like hot women" was a ridiculous generalisation for that user to make as an excuse for the fact they're whining about a video game character not being curvier. Hence, my comment that it has the same energy as the people who blame women for being assaulted. They're both usually from the same group. I admit I could've worded it better but my point still stands that they're usually of the same mindset.
"Acting unhinged" Is a pretty funny statement to make seeing as I wrote 3 clear sentences which regardless of you agreeing with or not, you felt the need to respond to with 3 entire paragraphs when my original statement hardly warranted it. Nor were you even involved in the thread previously, maybe you were the "unhinged" one upset by my comment?
Oh look, immediately jumping to personal attacks rather than actually arguing the point.
TLDR:
People can disagree with me thinking a thread whining about curvy waifus is ridiculous, but these comments immediately jumping out of the woodwork full of logical fallacies to somehow justify being upset that a video game character isn't sexier for you, is just sad. It's a 3D model you barely see the top of most of the time and I'm over engaging with this dumb argument.
