Center-left of the screen youll see a little arrow pointing left. Click that to pull out the menu, and at the bottom, select which one your plane is at.
Options are Inflight, Landed, Parked and Pending.
You cant sell it in-flight, and you cant sell it while its pending, so I'll assume youre going to choose 'Landed' or 'Parked.'
Click either one, and it will give you a list of planes in that same status.
Click the plane you want, then click 'Details.'
FINALLY, once in details, there is a bar with 3 options, and you can click 'Sell'
Options are 'Maintenance' 'Reroute' 'Sell'
Its alot of steps, but thats how you do it with your entire list of planes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Easy way is if the plane just landed and is in your 'Fleet' list on the right side.
1. Click 'Fleet' on right hand vertical panel
2. Click the link of the plane you want to sell
3. Click 'sell'!
Hope that helps!
Every airport has its own market value index. This is more or less to show how easy to sell Used planes on the local market would be, Perhaps a local airport just happens to have an airshow or flight training school and will happily buy up the old plane of yours. Whichever airport your plane is currently at when attempting to sell checks the local market and sells at that rate minus the cost of any wear and tear, etc.
In other words, as ViciousV stated, send your plane to locations with high market rates to sell for higher value. But at maximum you are always out at least 10% because the max market value allowed to any airport is only 90.
