Not really sure what it is since I just used the audio system in Unreal Engine, but I would try to clamp the framerate in main menu settings.
I've heard that very high framerates might create some issues.
You could also try to start the game directly from the steam-folder, without the steam overlay!
I clamped the framerate to 100 from 144 and it's fixed itself? Thanks for the help!

Yeah, I'm sure I will never run out of unexpected anectodes about what fixes issues!
On a side note, almost all system-type problems I've had seemes to be connected to the framerate, so it is the first suspect on my list.
