More Healing Spots or being able to heal on crystals
Loving the game so far, the only thing is that I fele there's way too little places where you can heal up, especially when you are grinding on hardmode and most enemies leave your party a puddle of blood when grinding. I feel like putting more places where you can heal or giving the crystals the ability to heal a party at a cost would be perfect to fix this.

As first reply said, this is an assist option. Useful for grinding like this, especially before getting any teleport stones.

Be mindful that enemies won't respawn when you heal this way (as they normally would if you left to go to an inn or other healer)

This may allow you to skip encounters you might not normally be able to on the way to a boss or similar, making resource management less of a factor.
Thanks for the answer, bros! Cheers!

Also, should probably throw in the usual disclaimer that grinding is less valuable in Crystal Project than it is in many games. Player power is gated far more by where you've been than it is by how much XP you have. Probably the biggest benefit to be had from grinding is the flames turning grey. :-)

The color of flames will depend on their relative level to your character's level. If you are high enough, the flames go grey and they will no longer pursue you.

If that happens, it generally means either you are backtracking through an earlier area, or you've *significantly* overleveled.

Grinding levels is generally a bad solution to any given problem due to the relatively low level cap. So if you're used to over-leveling to get thorough, you'll encounter a major difficulty spike once you hit level cap. Generally, this game is very good at rewarding player skill and setting up combos with characters that have synergistic abilities.

Also, unlike most RPGs, there are no 'trash' encounters. Every flame is a significant threat that needs to be treated with respect or it will be quite painful for your party.

While I agree about XP, I disagree on the grounds that LP is everything, and LP is gained the same way as XP. Sure, gear matters a ton, but it doesn't mean anything if your classes don't have their abilities. Your actual level is pretty meaningless though, so I do definitely agree on that front. The stat gains aren't that big a portion of your power for most of the game.

And that's probably my favourite part of this game. Enemies need to be respected, if you aren't forced to respect your enemies, the game might as well just be a visual novel.

Thanks for the explanation ^^ Yes, that (most) every flame is a threat I have learned the hard way *cough* Regarding leveling... I mean, learning points are still most important, no? Giving the right tools ^^ As gaining EXP for those LP is slower than leveling, and if you want to be flexible by having more than one job leveled, it's probably hard to avoid being overleveled a bit :D
